01 Who we are

Hurricane Heat LLC, doing business as Hurricane Heat ("we," "us"), operates hurricane-heat.com and provides heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services in Clallam and Jefferson Counties, Washington. Questions about this policy go to [email protected] or (360) 406-0398.

02 What we collect

• Information you give us: name, phone number, email address, service address, and whatever you tell us about your system.
• Booking information: the appointment you select and any notes attached to it.
• Basic site data: pages visited, device type, and referring source, collected through standard analytics.

03 Why we collect it

To schedule and perform the work you asked for, to reach you about your appointment, to send invoices and receipts, and to follow up after a job. We do not build advertising profiles.

04 Text messaging

Text messaging is optional and consent is never a condition of service. Our contact form offers two separate opt-ins: service texts about your request (scheduling, confirmations, updates) and marketing texts (occasional offers and maintenance reminders). Each is its own choice. If you check neither, we confirm by email and follow up by phone. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

05 Who we share information with

Service providers that help us run the business — scheduling and messaging software, payment processing, and equipment suppliers when a warranty or order requires it. They get only what they need. We do not sell your information.

06 How long we keep it

Customer and job records are kept as long as needed to service your equipment and meet Washington State recordkeeping and tax requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we'll respond within 30 days. Two things survive a deletion request: records we're legally required to keep, and the minimum needed to keep you on our do-not-contact list so your opt-out sticks.

07 Your choices

• Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
• Unsubscribe from any email using the link in it.
• Email us to see, correct, or delete what we hold.
• Stopping marketing texts doesn't stop service texts you've opted into, and vice versa.

08 Cookies

This site uses cookies for two things: keeping the site working (forms, sessions) and basic analytics (which pages get visited) so we can improve it. Our website platform sets these on our behalf. We don't use third-party advertising cookies, and nobody tracks you across other sites through ours. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not work right without them. There's no industry-standard response to "Do Not Track" browser signals, so this site doesn't respond to them — either way, our tracking is limited to what's described here.

09 Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

10 Children

This site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.

11 Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be posted on this page.
